Ken Watanabe

Ken Watanabe è un attore giapponese di teatro, cinema e televisione. È noto al pubblico anglofono per aver interpretato personaggi di eroi tragici, come il generale Tadamichi Kuribayashi in Lettere da Iwo Jima e Lord Katsumoto Moritsugu in L'ultimo samurai, ruolo per il quale ha ricevuto una nomination all'Oscar come miglior attore non protagonista. Tra gli altri premi, ha vinto due volte il Japan Academy Prize come miglior attore, nel 2007 per Memorie di domani e nel 2010 per Shizumanu Taiyō. È anche conosciuto per i suoi ruoli nei blockbuster hollywoodiani di Christopher Nolan, Batman Begins e Inception.
