Joshua Daniel "Josh" Hartnett (nato il 21 luglio 1978) è un attore e produttore americano. Ha attirato l'attenzione del pubblico per la prima volta nel 1997 come "Michael Fitzgerald" nella serie televisiva Cracker. Ha debuttato al cinema nel 1998, recitando insieme a Jamie Lee Curtis in Halloween H20: 20 Years Later. Nello stesso anno, ha ricevuto una nomination agli MTV Movie Award come Miglior Interpretazione Maschile Rivelazione. Hartnett ha guadagnato fama per il ruolo del capitano Danny Walker in Pearl Harbor, e da allora ha recitato per diversi registi noti come Ridley Scott, Brian De Palma, Robert Rodriguez, Tran Anh Hung e Michael Bay.
