Esai Morales, né le 1er octobre 1962 à Brooklyn, New York, est un acteur et producteur américain d'origine portoricaine. Diplômé de la High School for the Performing Arts, il débute sur scène dans The Tempest et El Hermano. Son premier rôle au cinéma est dans Bad Boys (1983), mais c'est son interprétation de Bob Morales dans La Bamba (1987) qui le révèle. Il joue dans des films comme Mission : Impossible - Dead Reckoning (2023) et des séries telles que NYPD Blue et Ozark. En 1997, il co-fonde la National Hispanic Foundation for the Arts. Marié à Elvimar Silva depuis 2010, il a une fille, Mariana.
