Conrad Brooks

Conrad Brooks wurde 1931 als Conrad Biedrzycki geboren. Er war der Sohn polnischer Einwanderer, sein Vater war Bäcker, und er hatte sieben Geschwister. Mit siebzehn Jahren zog er zusammen mit seinen Brüdern Henry und Ted nach Hollywood, Kalifornien. Brooks begegnete dem legendären Trash-Regisseur Ed Wood zum ersten Mal in einem Donut-Laden. Seine erste Zusammenarbeit mit Wood war der fünfzehnminütige Kurzfilm „Range Revenge“. In Woods „Glen or Glenda“ spielte Brooks drei Rollen. Seinen größten und anhaltenden Kultstatus erreichte er als Polizist Jamie in „Plan 9 from Outer Space“. Brooks hatte einen kurzen Auftritt in dem Billigfilm „The Beast of Yucca Flats“.
