Notary verkörpert hauptsächlich Kreaturen und Tiere in Film und Fernsehen und ist bekannt für seine Motion-Capture-Performances in Filmen wie Avatar, Tim und Struppi – Die Abenteuer der Einhorn, der Planet-der-Affen-Reboot-Reihe, der Hobbit-Trilogie und Kong: Skull Island. 2018 spielte Notary Cull Obsidian in den Marvel-Filmen Avengers: Infinity War und Avengers: Endgame.
